Copper Theft Deterrent Labels
Home and business owners from coast to coast have found their air conditioners vandalized or stolen by thieves looking to make a quick buck by reselling copper and other metals contained in condensers. The market price for such scrap has never been higher. Condensers are easy prey as they sit outdoors, are frequently unprotected and often hidden from plain view.
Because of this, several companies have introduced alarm and/or lighting systems triggered when a condensor is approached or tampered with.
